The Roxburgh is often praised for its beautifully decorated, generously sized rooms, many offering lovely sea views best enjoyed from provided recliner chairs, with thoughtful touches like fresh milk and complimentary biscuits. Guests appreciate the convenience of on-site parking and the hotel's proximity to the beach. While some found the location a bit outside the town center, others enjoyed the peaceful setting, and a short bus ride provides easy access to Berwick. Breakfast receives high marks, especially the top-quality produce and homemade marmalade.

solid biscuits erratic shower
The biscuits provided were rock solid. I nearly chipped a tooth trying to eat one. The tiny sink made filling the kettle a real challenge. the shower temperature was erratic. I almost got scalded a couple of times!!!

the room was tastefully modernized. i found free parking on site. the back entrance goes right on the promenade, and there are even beach chairs available.
the room wasn't ready for us. a nearest grocery is about a twenty minute walk uphill. restaurants are only in the town, about a forty minute walk.
